What self-advocacy skills do students need by the end of middle school?

As early as possible - ideally no later than the time a student reaches 7th grade - students need to learn to advocate for themselves. Though these skills tend to be more difficult for students with ADHD and Executive Function challenges, fortunately, all of them are teachable. We've developed a list of 9 specific skills that students need to master by the time they enter high school.

Complete the form to the right, download the Student Self-Advocacy Checklist, and help your child learn these important skills.
