What self-advocacy skills do students need by the end of middle school?

As early as possible - ideally no later than the time a student reaches 7th grade - students need to learn to advocate for themselves. Though these skills tend to be more difficult for students with ADHD and Executive Function challenges, fortunately, all of them are teachable.
